We tend to define miracles as God removing hardship or obstacles in our lives in supernatural ways—miraculous healing of the body, protection from danger, or the arrival of a huge unexpected financial gift.

In waiting for this, we often miss out on experiencing everything our Creator offers us—full provision. Experiencing His full provision (peace, hope, strength, joy and abundant life), in the midst of difficulties, against all odds, that too is a miracle!

The person with terminal cancer who brings life to all, the one who has lived through unspeakable horror and yet is gracious and loving to others, the family with very little that still gives most generously, the person who chooses to forgive and refuses to be consumed by hate…

We are surrounded by miracles of God’s full provision.

Do I bear good fruit even through discouraging seasons of my life? Do I bring life or death?
